Put Your Car Keys Near The Bed

YOUR BED AT NIGHT.  (Good to know for all emergencies.)

Whether it's a burglary, heart attack, rapist, dog attack, or domestic abuse, put your car keys near your bed at night or wherever you go most often during the day (such as the living room or kitchen).

If you hear a noise outside your home or someone trying to get in your house, just press the panic button for your car. The alarm will be set off, and the horn will continue to sound
until either you turn it off or the car battery dies.

This tip came from a neighborhood watch coordinator. Next time you come home for the night and you start to put your keys away, think of this:

It's a security alarm system that you probably already have and requires no installation. Test it. It should go off from most everywhere inside your house and will keep honking until your battery runs down or until you reset it with the button on the key fob chain. It works if you park in your driveway or garage.

If your car alarm …

Scary Stories About Text Messages

These are both true stories.

A girl attending an Arkansas college had dated a boy for over a year, and when she tried to break up with him, he killed her, put her in her bed and locked the door to her bedroom.

She had two roommates who just thought she was studying or had gone somewhere. Several days later, they had a bad odor and called the landlord. He called the girls parents to see when they had last talked with her.

Her dad said, "I just got a text from her about 45 minutes ago but have not TALKED with her in 4 days."  They called the police and when they opened the door to her bedroom, they found her body.

She had been dead 4 days but her boyfriend took her cell phone and had been text messaging her parents for 4 days after he murdered her!!

PARENTS: when you are texting, make sure your kids call you at some point and not just text you. Text  them 'I want to hear your voice' and if they don't call you or won't answer your calls, call the pol…

Effects of a Brown Recluse Spider Bite

a very venomous spider that can be deadly.  They look like they have a violin
on the head section.

Be careful where you put your hands.
These spiders like dark spaces (including the attic)
& woodpiles.

This guy was bitten by a brown recluse spider. The following illustrates the progression of a brown recluse spider bite.
The affected skin actually dies on his body!

Day 3

Day 5

Day 9

Day 10

Please be careful. Spider bites are dangerous and can have permanent and highly negative consequences.

They like the darkness and tend to live in storage sheds or attics or other areas that might not be frequented by people or light. If you have a need to be in your attic, go up there and turn on a light and leave it on for about 30 minutes before you go in to do your work!

Johns Hopkins: Preventing Cancer

Facts About Cancer:
 1.   Every person has cancer cells in the body.  These cancer cells do not
show up in the standard tests until they have multiplied to a few billion.
When doctors tell cancer patients that there are no more cancer cells in
their bodies after treatment, it just means the tests are unable to detect
the cancer cells because they have not reached the detectable size.

 2.   Cancer cells occur between 6 to more than 10 times in a person's

 3.   When the person's immune system is strong the cancer cells will be
destroyed and prevented from multiplying and forming tumors.

4.   When a person has cancer it indicates the person has multiple
nutritional deficiencies.  These could be due to genetic, environmental,
food and lifestyle factors.

5.   To overcome the multiple nutritional deficiencies, changing diet and
including supplements will strengthen the immune system.

6.   Chemotherapy involves poisoning the rapidly-growing cancer cells and
also destroys rapidly-growing he…

Dr. Oz on Eating Fruit (good info)

We all think eating fruit means just buying fruit, cutting it up and popping it into our mouths. It's not that easy. It's important to know how and when to eat fruit.
What's the correct way to eat fruit?

Eating fruit like that plays a major role in detoxifying your system, supplying you with a great deal of energy for weight loss and other life activities. FRUIT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT FOOD.

Let's say you eat two slices of bread, then a slice of fruit. The slice of fruit is ready to go straight through the stomach into the intestines, but it's prevented from doing so.

In the meantime, the whole meal rots and ferments, and turns to acid. The minute the fruit comes into contact with the food in the stomach, and digestive juices, the entire mass of food begins to spoil.

Eat your fruit on an empty stomach, or before your meal! You've heard people complain: Every time I eat watermelon I burp,…

How to LOCK Your Car....the Right Way.

Always lock your car manually.

(This email was passed on to me.)

As I walked away, I heard my car door unlock. I went back and locked my car again three times. Each time, as soon as I started to walk away, I would hear it unlock again!! Naturally alarmed, I looked around and there were two guys sitting in a car in the fire lane next to the store. They were obviously watching me intently, and there was no doubt they were somehow involved in this very weird situation.. I quickly chucked the errand I was on, jumped in my car and sped away. I went straight to the police station, told them what had happened, and found out I was part of a new, and very successful, scheme being used to gain entry into cars.

Two weeks later, my friend's son had a similar happening. While traveling, my friend's son stopped at a roadside rest to use the bathroom. When he came out to his car less than 4-5 minutes later, someone had gotten into his car and stolen his cell phone, laptop computer, GPS navigato…
