Fast Food Breakfast Places & Items

The Likely Scenario:

You're employed.

You work a regular hour shift (8am - 5pm).

You're running behind and rush out the door, off to work.

Your commute to work is around 30 minutes.

You didn't have time to make breakfast at home, so you decide to look for a drive-thru on the way to work -- somewhere you can grab a breakfast sandwich and a coffee.

As you drive along, you can't find any good fast food places that serve breakfast, or at least ones that you know of. You didn't notice a good place to stop until it was too late -- after you had already passed the exit and didn't have time to turn around. You continue to drive until you see another drive-thru place pop up along the way...but that place never pops up.

By now, you've already arrived to your destination and without any breakfast. (At least the office has a coffee maker.)

Your stomach growls at 10am.  Lunch isn't until 12pm. You wished you had stopped somewhere to grab breakfast.

"Next time," you think to yourself...

Is this you?

This may not be an issue for many, but I think we can all agree that there have been plenty of times when we are looking for a quick fast food place to stop by and either 1) never find something that sounds good at the moment -- because we don't know the menu well, or 2) we see a good place to stop, but accidentally miss the exit...and since we don't have time to turn around, we continue driving ahead and hope another one will pop up soon.

More times than I can even count, I have done this exact scenario. Then I find myself arriving at my destination without any food.

"First world problems."

But my main dilemma comes from trying to find BREAKFAST food on-the-go.

I'm not proud of it, but McDonald's has become my "go-to" place when I can't decide on where to stop and grab some breakfast. This was mainly because I didn't know of very many places that served breakfast. And even if I did, I was unsure of their breakfast menu selection. I don't like the idea of McDonald's, but I still find myself going there for conveniency reasons. They're readily available everywhere, it seems. Plus, it was the only place I knew that served Iced Coffee --besides Starbucks-- and on a hot summer morning, the last thing I wanted was something hot to drink.

Another problem I ran into was trying to find a drive-thru that opened by 6am because I have a 6:30am to 3:30pm shift at work. The healthier places, like Subway, do not open until 7am. So it quickly becomes another "this tastes like obesity" kind of morning for this girl.

Now, to the point...

My consistent dilemma gave me inspiration to make this blog, with hopes that I would help other employed individuals dealing with this same issue. I decided to come up with a list of "Fast Food Breakfast Places" so that both you and I could be educated on the places that serve breakfast, as well as knowing what kind of items their menu offers.

So here we go.

DIY Car Kit Ideas: List of Items

A DIY car kit is not the same thing as an emergency kit - they serve different purposes.

A true emergency kit should go in the back of the trunk, including items such as band-aids, Neosporin, and other trauma or survival aids. DIY car kits have non-emergency items ---but used for your own personal "emergencies," such as spilling ketchup on your shirt or a sudden headache when driving on the road.

**A DIY car kit should be in a small to medium sized container, with a zipping or buckling component to ensure the items stay inside. It can be a flimsy material bag, or a sturdy plastic container. But make sure it is small enough that it will not take up a lot of space in your back seat. The ideal size would be able to fit underneath the seat or on the floorboard.

See the items below to configure your own Car Kit according to what YOU think you'll need "in case of emergency."

6-Month DIY Wedding: The Timeline Checklist

First of all, what do I mean by a "DIY Wedding?"

A wedding that is at least 75% of planning and services done by YOU. This means NO fancy venues, expensive wedding cakes, unnecessary rentals, catering, and more.

If this isn't you, then you will not find this DIY Wedding Checklist helpful...at all.
If this is you, then read on and enjoy!

On the side note....

Which one are you?:

Just got engaged (but having a short engagement -- 4 to 6 months)? No worries. You'd be surprised how many people pull of an entire DIY wedding in less than 4 or 5 months, so if they can, so can you. Just follow the Wedding Checklist and Timeline below:

Not yet "officially" engaged (but know you are about to be)? I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you to plan ahead, especially if you are planning the wedding all by yourself. No, you absolutely don't need to buy anything yet (and shouldn't) but you must plan ahead and know exactly what you want to do. That way, once the engagement finally comes, yo…
